All original sterling silver Victorian locket and matching ornate book chain, circa 1881. The overly large oval locket has a floral motif yellow gold circled by stars having rose gold applied rings complete with a beaded border. Inside are two compartments ready for adding a memento. The bold 5/8 inch wide collar has rows of ribbed links topped with star designs and a beaded border. Wear the collar necklace with the locket or alone. A super, highly collectible piece of antique jewelry!
